CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

Partners in Hope
Working Together for A Brighter Tomorrow

The Teaching-Family Association will be hosting its 24th Annual Conference in Dallas, Texas on October 10-13, 2001. Like the big Texas sky, the opportunities to work together are endless, and our hopes for a better tomorrow are brighter than the stars at night.

In keeping with this year’s theme, Partners in Hope — Working Together for a Brighter Tomorrow, the Association realizes the importance of partnerships and cooperation in meeting the challenges we all face. “Partnering” may involve formal collaborations, or it may simply consist of openly sharing information with one another. Whichever the case, we are asking all professionals to provide us with presentations designed to help practitioners, managers, administrators, fundraisers, insurers, and other professionals involved in human services. Specifically, contributions discussing the Teaching-Family Model, the hope it provides to those in need, how the Model is applied, how it may evolve in the future, and formal and informal ways to work effectively together are being sought. Please note, Friday, October 12, the conference will offer a special training track focused on topics of particular interest to foster parents.

All contributions will be considered. Deadline for submissions is July 1, 2001 to the TFA Office.

We look forward to your joining us in Dallas in October!
