The Teaching-Family Association invites you to submit presentations for consideration for the 2001 Annual Conference. Proposals are accepted for 50-minute presentation/workshops and two-hour symposia/workshops as well as poster style presentations. Both members of the Teaching-Family Association and nonmembers will be considered for presentations. Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment by the author(s) to present if accepted. There is no limit on how many abstracts you may submit. Authors of selected presentations will be notified by August 1, 2001.

Abstracts must be received by July 1, 2001. Teaching-Family Association will not be responsible for late submissions. Submissions will not be returned. Please mail your submission to:

Guidelines for Submissions
The Teaching-Family Association Program Committee is inviting proposals for presentation/workshops of 50 minutes or 2-hour symposia/workshops, as well as poster style presentations. All presentations must be proposed by using the “Call for Presentations” form. The following information is necessary to complete the form.

Title of Presentation
Try to keep it brief and informative

Primary Presenter
Provide the information including phone number

Co-Authors/Presenters
Provide names, titles, and affiliations.

Presentation Format
Indicate which type of presentation you will be submitting.

Equipment Needs
Indicate your equipment needs from the menu provided.

Presentation Description
The description of your presentation will be quoted verbatim in the conference program. Please limit your description to 50 words, typed please.

Presentation Abstract
Your abstract is a simple summary describing the content, purpose and format (e.g., lecture/discussion, panel discussion, behavioral rehearsal) of your presentation and should indicate your intended or target audience. This abstract should not exceed 100 words and will be used by the program committee to assess your proposal and to guide us in its placement on the program schedule.

Deadline
The proposal submission deadline of July 1 is firm. Please return your proposal as soon as possible.
