The 2002 Annual Conference is being planned now.  This year's event will be hosted at the Rimrock Resort in Banff, Alberta, Canada.  The Rimrock Resort is a beautiful resort lying within Canada's renowned Banff National Park.  Nestled in a pristine mountain setting above the Banff townsite, uncompromised luxury and unmatched natural splendor come together in perfect harmony.

Hotel Rates

TFA Has arranged for special conference rates of $173 CDN (~$105 US) single or $178 CDN (~$110 US) double.  Call 1-800-661-1587 to make your reservations.  You must make your reservation prior to September 10 to be assured date and rate.   

Transportation from Airport

If you require transfers between the Calgary International Airport and Rimrock Resort, please complete and return the following form to Cascadia Destination Management by October 18, 2002.   Please download and fill out the form -- if you don't have Word, please call the office at 757/497-3023 for a fax copy.

 
 The theme for this 25th Anniversary Conference is CELEBRATING DIVERSITY...EMBRACING OPPORTUNITIES.  In keeping with this year's theme, the Association realizes the importance of learning from each other and recognizing various viewpoints.  We are asking all professionals to provide us with presentations designed to help practitioners, managers, administrators, fundraisers, insurers, and other professionals involved in human services.  Specifically, contributions discussing the Teaching-Family Model, the various approaches to service, different venues, forms of implementation and the it helps those in need are wanted.  Click here to download a PDF form -- you can click here and submit a form online.
