Job Posting: Teaching Family Lifestyle Coach

POSITION SUMMARY: To provide orientation and in-service training, instruction implementation and role modeling to the Family Teaching couples, teachers and agency staff. Monitor quality of services and ensure all person(s) receiving training and development follows the Teaching Family Association standards, applicable state/law regulations and agency quality assurance standards. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Technical knowledgeable and competence in the Teaching Family Model training, consultation, and evaluation systems is essential in order to provide pre-service, advanced training, and monitor quality assurance/improvement throughout Group Effort’s residential programs and service delivery systems.

Training Duties Include:

Provide training for all Group Effort staff specific to their job responsibilities 

Teaching Family Model pre-service; advanced training workshops (i.e., Trainer Training, Consultation, Evaluation);

Crisis Prevention Institute

(CPI); First Aid/CPR;

Monthly in-service trainings for all Family Teachers in specialized areas based on the population served and to insure they meet training hours according to licensing requirements.

Assist with the maintaining, updating, and revise training manuals and materials;

Work with Human Resources to coordinate and facilitate completion of pre-employment training orientation requirements/checklists.

Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ experience in a related field.
Valid Driver's License.

Able to complete online and classroom training to include
CPR and First Aid
Pass a background check
Pass a drug scree


Pay Rate: $33,500 to $37,500/year 

Pay Comments: depending on experience, education & license
