The Teaching-Family Association hosts two in-person events every year.
TFA’s Mid-Year meeting focuses on leadership, decision making, management, and leadership presentations for TFA Members and their invited guests. This event includes meetings of the Board of Directors, Accreditation & Ethics, Development & Dissemination, Marketing, Research, and Annual Conference Committees. Shared expertise and networking with other leaders refresh, reinvigorate, and provide a platform for strategies, improvement, and innovation.
TFA’s Annual Conference is open for anyone to attend. This event is focused on professionals involved in the arenas of human and social services, education, mental health, and other service areas. The conference provides outstanding education for practitioners, managers, trainers, and administrators. Concurrent educational programming is available over the course of 3 days. Keynote and Plenary speakers provide vision, inspiration, and the challenge to continually improve process and practice. Our Awards Banquet celebrates the amazing work and accomplishments of TFA Accredited Agency Practitioners and Consultants, and Association-level Awards honoring our foundations and founders.
