The TEACHING FAMILY ASSOCIATION is pleased to announce that two of our TFA Accredited agencies have been recognized by the Federal Prevention Services Clearinghouse as they just announced that the following interventions have been added to the Clearinghouse, paving the way for any state to add these services to their prevention state plan and receive federal matching IV-E funds:

Families First, Utah Youth Village’s in-home services model
Well-Supported Rating

On the Way Home, Boys Town’s aftercare services model
Promising Rating

Each program has been categorized as both Mental Health and as In-Home Parent Skill-Based Programs and Services.

There is a difference between quality and qualified. Quality requires the implementation of evidence-based, researched practice that includes operationalized, professional standards. THIS IS THE TEACHING FAMILY MODEL.
